WHY ARE WE HERE?
There will come a point in life, when you ask yourself what is the reason for my existence on this planetoid you will ask: why am I here?" We might question how we should or could leave a mark, if we are destined to do so, and we will ask for guidance on "how?"
Well – fortunately for me, my question was answered by the profession I've chosen: a life in front and behind the camera lens and to use my experiences to be creative. That choice allowed me to have created a business that is focused on SAVING MEMORIES! YES - memories – we all have them. Besides my 40+ years in front of cameras and on occasional movie sets, I had the privilege for over four decades, to provide services through my company, Arizona Media Service, ranging from individuals of all walks of life to major Corporations and to assist with the preservation of their memories.
YOU, my customers, have allowed me to leave my mark by preserving thousands of memories to a new format. In the matter of fact – each one of you, that has entrusted Arizona Media Service with your memories on video tape, film, slides, newsletters, documents or audio reels, has allowed me to become part of YOUR past, part of YOUR family, part of YOUR Company and part of YOUR loved ones! YOU have taken me to places that I was never able to visit in person. No matter if it was a visit to Disneyland in 1955, the Seattle World Fair in 1962, a wild ride down the ski slopes in Aspen in 1980, the countless family get-togethers during Christmas and Thanksgiving with the fantastic corporate rewards in Hawaii or the stay in a penthouses overlooking Central Park in New York – it was YOUR captured imagery that helped me grow and ultimately made me to what I am today...and I am grateful for that!
Sure – technology changed throughout the years and without taken a paycheck I have proudly re-invested 100% of Company profits into purchasing superior equipment, utilizing the latest advancements in technology. No matter if it was a delicate film transfer machine, using a hyper sensitive camera to scan your film frame by frame and to replace TeleCine equipment or if it was a simple video tape to DVD transfer via Firewire: it was always performed with the best and most advanced equipment available!
So - my purpose on this planet is clear...I am here to entertain and to assist YOU in sharing past and present memories with your family, your children, their children, their grandchildren and so on – it is what we all love to do…it is sharing LIFE!
During the last 12 years I have been working on an idea to catapult a customer's memory storage needs into the next century. I am proud to have released this new project in 2024. It is called QR VIDEO VAULT and basically is a personal streaming service...the ONLY ONE on the market right now, that allows the user to access their old film and video tapes, uploaded to AMS' video vault, by simply scanning a QR code. How does it work? AMS uploads the user's material onto a secure server and creates a uniquely formulated QR code. The user scans the QR code with his portable device such as phone, watch or tablet and can now watch the uploaded content...no commercials, no interruptions...just memories! I have dedicated the first QR code stories to my parents, Heinz and Hildegard, that sadly passed away too soon in their journey.
